Starting Monday, August 12, 2024, the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department will have a contractor inspecting water meter boxes throughout the City. Contractor employees will be walking into residents’ yards to do the inspections and digging up by water meter boxes. If you have any questions, please contact the City’s Public Works Department at 985-446-7216.

On Thursday, July 18, 2024, St. Patrick Street from Forty Arpent Road and Canal Boulevard will be closed from approximately 7 AM to 7 PM, weather permitting, for a contractor to mill and overlay the intersection.

The City of Thibodaux’s Department of Housing and Community Development announces that it is currently issuing Free Bus Vouchers to Low-Moderate Income Residents. All interested individuals must provide picture ID, proof of residency and proof of income of all household members. Eligible residents can receive 3 free, all day bus passes each week.
