Today, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the intersection of General Nicholls Street and Lawrence Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic. The City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department is on site doing an emergency dig for a sewer system.

Tomorrow, April 15, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM, there will be no parking on West 3rd Street in Downtown Thibodaux while the contractors take pictures of the area prior to sidewalk construction.

In observance of Good Friday, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Friday, April 18, 2025. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned day. Trash collection will not be affected and will run as scheduled.
