The City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department is working diligently to repair the broken water line on Audobon Ave. Affected Lafourche Parish Schools have been notified of early dismissals. We will remain in contact with the Lafourche Parish School District. In addition, Audubon Ave from La. 1 to Menard St. is currently closed to vehicular traffic until further notice. The City of Thibodaux will continue to keep the public updated on the progress.

Currently, the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department is repairing a broken water line at the intersection of Audubon Ave and Ormonde Dr. An estimated repair time has not been determined, but the City of Thibodaux will update residents as soon as possible. During repairs, low water pressure will be experienced in the area.

Today, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the westbound lane on Highway 308 near the St. Patrick St. intersection will be closed to vehicular traffic while the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department replaces a water valve and pipe.
