Currently, Thursday, November 6, 2025, the City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department is on scene at the intersection of South Acadia Road and Martin Luther King Drive repairing a water line break. The intersection will be closed to vehicular traffic while repairs are being made and we will update the public once the intersection is back open.

In observance of Veterans Day, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Additionally, the Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on this day. The trash collection schedule will not be interrupted. Normal operating hours will resume on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, through Friday, October 24, 2025, the intersection of Rienzi Drive and the Rienzi Shopping Center driveway will be closed intermittently to vehicular traffic. A contractor will be on site performing a sewer line connection.
