City Office Closure: Christmas Holiday

In observance of Christmas, City of Thibodaux offices will close on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM and will remain closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, for Christmas Eve. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021. Pelican Waste and Debris will NOT be collecting garbage on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25, 2021.

City of Thibodaux Storm Debris Collection efforts are continuing. The City is currently in its 3rd and final pass for debris collection which is estimated to be completed by Friday, December 17, 2021. The City’s debris collection contractor’s objective is to have all debris generated as a result of Hurricane Ida collected before their crews leave. If you still have storm debris that has not been collected, please call our EOC office (985-446-7237) to ensure that your address is placed on our collection map. We ask that our citizens refrain from placing debris curbside that was not generated as a result of the storm. Any debris not collected by the completion date may become the responsibility of the property owner and/or contractor to dispose of. The City of Thibodaux appreciates everyone’s cooperation as we continue our Hurricane Ida recovery efforts.

The City of Thibodaux’s Parks and Recreation Department would like to offer a volunteering opportunity for those who are interested in participating in the Christmas in the Park event.
