City of Thibodaux - City Office Closure: Thanksgiving Holidays

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, City of Thibodaux offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2023, and Friday, November 24, 2023. The Warren J. Harang Jr. Municipal Auditorium will also be closed to walkers on the aforementioned days. Garbage will not be collected on Thanksgiving Day. All residents that have a Monday/Thursday pick-up schedule will have their service resumed on the following Monday. Pelican Waste and Debris will be back to their normal schedule on Friday, November 24, 2023. Normal office operating hours for the City will resume on Monday, November 27, 2023.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Bowie Road Bridge will have intermittent lane closures while a contractor replaces guard rails. The contractor has traffic control personnel directing traffic, so please use caution in this area.

Wednesday, November 8, 2023, one lane of St. Patrick Street from North 13th Street to North 12th Street will be closed intermittently to vehicular traffic. The City of Thibodaux’s Public Works Department will be tying in a water line in the area from approximately 7 AM to 5 PM.
