Employee of the Month Rachel Ordoyne
Rachel Ordoyne, a native of Thibodaux, has been with the City of Thibodaux for almost three years.She started work in the Finance Department as a C.O.E. worker from Thibodaux High.After finishing high school in 2001, she was rehired in the Grants Department as an Intern part-time secretary.She is known throughout City Hall as a hard worker who you can count on having a smile on her face and always helps anyone in need.Rachel is currently enrolled at Nicholls State University and is majoring in Business Administration.Rachel stated, “Working for the City while I’ve been in school has been a great learning experience.Although sometimes the day gets hectic, I always leave with a smile." Attention:The Thibodaux Main Street Farmer's market will be closed on Saturday, July 5th because of the holiday weekend. The market will reopen on the following Saturday, July 12th from 7:00 to 11:00 am on LA 1 and Maronge.
