The Thibodaux Firemen's Fair will be held from Thursday, May 1 to Sunday, May 4 at the fair grounds on Tiger Drive.  Free admission!  The annual Fireman’s Parade will be Sunday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m.  Click HERE for entertainment schedules, food and more.
  Town Meetings - In an effort to achieve common goals with the residents of Thibodaux; Mayor Charles Caillouet and his leadership team are hosting three town meetings.  Everyone is encouraged to attend and communicate his or her suggestions for the future of Thibodaux.

Past accomplishments and future planning goals will be presented and discussed at each town meeting.  Residents may attend any or all town meetings.

Mayor Charles Caillouet stated, “The purpose of these town meetings is to get public input for our future plans for the City of Thibodaux.”

The time and places are as follows:

District B: Monday, May 5 Protector Fire Co. #2 549 Tetreau St.
District A: Tuesday, May 6 W. Thibodaux Fire Co. #1 200 Notre Dame St.
District C: Wednesday, May 7 St. Luke Center 300 E. 11th St.

All meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m.


CELEBRITY GUEST BARTENDER…Come join the fun on Wednesday, May 14 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fremin's in downtown Thibodaux with our guests bartenders Gretchen Caillouet and Frances Pellegrin. Gretchen and Frances will be shaking things up in support of Thibodaux Main Street.  Tip your friendly bartenders who are graciously donating their tips to Thibodaux Main Street.  

  Thibodaux Main Street will present a Walking Tour of Historic buildings in Thibodaux with walking guides Malcolm Hodnett and local historian Gibbens Robichaux.  The tour will begin at the Dansereau House on May 16 at 4:00 p.m. with Marge Barker doing a slide show of the buildings on the tour route.
  Thibodaux Main Street Grill-Off sponsored by Thibodaux Main Street and Rouses will be held Friday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Thibodaux, corner of West 2ND and St. Philip with judging at 6:00 p.m.  Deadline for entering is Monday, May 12.  For more information contact Randy Barrios at 985-447-4713, ext. 123 or Joyce Benoit at 985-448-1474.
  The Thibodaux Farmer’s Market is seeking interested farmers and vendors for the market opening in early May.  For more information contact Joyce Benoit at 448-1474.
  The LSU Interior Design class will be presenting Interior and Façade Designs of Main Street.  The presentation will take place on Tuesday, May 20 at 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers room at City Hall.  All businesses, potential investors, and interested persons are encouraged to attend.
  Nicholls State University is celebrating their 5th annual Jubilee, a Festival of the Arts and Humanities, from March 13 - May 3rd.  Click HERE for more information.
