  Mayor Charles Caillouet, the City Council, and all City employees extend their deepest sympathy to the family of Adley Landry, City Councilman, District A.  Mr. Adley's funeral arrangements are 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM April 16 at Thibodaux Funeral Home on St. Patrick Highway, and 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on April 17 at St. Genevieve Church on Barbier Street.
  Friday, April 18, 2003 is a City Holiday for all City employees.  Please note that some city buildings will not be open on this day.
  The City of Thibodaux participated in the Lafourche Parish Student Government Day on Monday, April 14.  Thibodaux and E.D. White High School students participated in the Mayor's staff meeting, City Council meeting, then went on to ‘shadow’ their city employee.  The Mayor and all City employees who took part in the program would like to thank the students who shared the day with them.

The Thibodaux Firemen's Fair will be held from Thursday, May 1 to Sunday, May 4 at the fair grounds on Tiger Drive.  Free admission!  The annual Fireman’s Parade will be Sunday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m.  Click HERE for entertainment schedules, food and more.

  The Thibodaux Farmer’s Market is seeking interested farmers and vendors for the market opening in early May.  For more information contact Joyce Benoit at 448-1474.
  The LSU Interior Design class will be presenting Interior and Façade Designs of Main Street.  The presentation will take place on Tuesday, May 20 at 3:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers room at City Hall.  All businesses, potential investors, and interested persons are encouraged to attend.
