NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD  OF  ADJUSTMENTS  MEETING
THIBODAUX,  LOUISIANA
Wednesday, June 30, 2004

The Board of Adjustments will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 5:30 P.M. at 310 West 2nd Street in the City Council Meeting Room (upstairs City Hall Building), Thibodaux, Louisiana, concerning the following:

OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:  To consider a request by Danny and Anne Cancienne to open a snowball stand at residence located at 1309 Ledet Street (R-3 District).  

Item 2:  To consider a request by Brent and Chantell Gonzales & Tommy and Wendy Toups to vary 12 ˝ ’ from the required 50’ front yard requirement in order to subdivide 96’ x 137’ lot into two parcels located at 734 Goode Street (R-2 District). 

Item 3:  To consider a request by Todd and Courtney Hubbell to vary 7’ from rear yard setback requirement of 10’ and to vary 2’ from side yard requirement of 5’ in order to construct a 16’ x 20’ storage shed at 119 Goode Street (R-1 District).  

Item 4:   To consider a request by Lottie Ordoyne Folse to open a beauty shop with two operators and twelve parking spaces at 113 St. Joseph Street (R-1  District). 

Item 5:  To consider a request by Earl Jones to construct a convenience store, restaurant and night club on vacant lot adjacent to 1303 St. Charles Street (R-3 District). 

Item 6:  To consider a request by Hope Cheramie on behalf of U.S.A. General Labor, Inc. to operate a labor contracting business and to vary from off street parking requirements at 629 East 1st Street (R-1 District). 

Item 7:  To consider a request by Duplantis Design Group, PC on behalf of Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc. to be allowed a 101.36 sq. ft. monument sign and to be allowed a 245 sq. ft. building sign on front of building to be constructed on North Canal Boulevard (C-3 District).
Any other matters properly brought before the Board.
