Upon arrival, Officer Coleman met with the victim who stated that she awoke this morning only to find a black male standing at the foot of her bed.  The victim was then able to grab her infant child and run to a neighbor’s home for help.

Through the course of Officer Coleman’s investigation, he was able to determine a possible identification of the suspect.  The victim was later able to pick out the suspect from a photographic lineup.

With this, officers went to 1324 St. Charles St. where they located Lyndel Joseph Adams Age 32 of this address in Thibodaux.  Mr. Adams was then taken into custody and brought to the Thibodaux Police Department where he was booked on the charge of Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling.  Mr. Adams was then brought to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center to await bond.
