During the evening hours of January 6, 2003 officers of the Thibodaux Police Department were called to the 200 block of Sanders Street for the report of someone breaking bottles in the street as well as yelling and using obscenities.
Upon arrival, officers saw a black male, known as Nathaniel Every Age 42 of 104 Iris Street in Thibodaux, LA, yelling and cursing in the street. Nathaniel Every started to leave the area, but not before throwing several objects into a nearby yard. Though officers told Mr. Every not to leave, he did attempt to continue leaving the area.
Mr. Every was then taken into custody. The objects thrown were later found to be a one-dollar bill that was torn in half. Another object was found to be a small plastic bag containing suspected cocaine.
Mr. Every was then brought to Thibodaux Police Department where he was booked with Disturbing the Peace by Public Intoxication and Possession of Cocaine. Mr. Every was then brought to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center with no bond.
